Hi my name is Paloma! I am a student at New Tech High. Here I am going to talk to you about "How to get to know your teammates for a new project" in a healthy way in just four easy to follow steps. ![]() Step one: What your name? When you are first being introduced or introducing yourself, ask the persons name because asking a persons name is a surprisingly really great conversation starter! For example, my name is Paloma, so whenever I introduce myself to people I usually get comments back like "Wow, thats such a beautiful name! What does it mean?" or "Do you know what your name means?" or on extremely rare occasions, "Wow!! You and I have the same name!! How cool!"
![]() Step three: Talk about something you have in common Now is the time when you get to notice what you have in common with the person, whether it is you both love the color pink, you have the same phone, or you both love to take selfies! What I love to do is ask what type of music a person likes listening to and see if we have some similarities there. Step four: Exchange phone numbers/emails
This is a time that is vital among teenagers because we are the generation that loves to text. So exchanging phone numbers, social media, or even your email helps you get back into your comfort zone so that you can socialize while being comfortably you.
