For this assignment I will be talking about the two standards that I chose and how they both tie into my entire experiment.
My first is the Interdependence of Organisms. This basically means that any organism depends on any living thing and also depend on their environment to stay healthy for them. Sometimes organisms are extremely dependent on other organisms so much that in order to live they need that living thing. Other organisms just consume similar food with another organism which would cause them to fight over the food. I believe that this relates to my topic because animals are used to fighting for their food, but when you keep an animal in captivity without any other animal of the same or a different species, you are keeping it in an environment which is harmful to their very existence. My second standard is Population size. This is really just about how when they population grows, the resources have to grow too or introduce new predators otherwise the population dies without equal amounts of food for all of the animals. The reason I feel that this strongly represent my blog is because animals have instincts to find food. When they realize that the only way they get food is to fight for it, they become savages.

In my first blog on this topic I talked about how all animals have a fight or flight trigger and how I'm going to research the difference between the fight or flight trigger in Captive vs feral animals. The reason why I feel like researching this is because I feel like marine animals in marine world or six flags or any other amusement parks are being treated poorly. I've also noticed how marine animals are becoming far more aggressive with their zoo keepers and themselves. I wanted to to do an experiment to find out if certain environments affect a marine animal in its habitat.
